Receh.in - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has announced a net profit attributable to its parent entity of IDR 12.5 trillion in 2022, a whopping 59% increase from the IDR 7.9 trillion recorded in 2021. The company's revenue for 2022 also rose by 45.7% to IDR 42.6 trillion from IDR 29.2 trillion in the previous year. According to the financial report released on Thursday (2/3/2023), PTBA's operating profit increased by 52% to IDR 15.1 trillion from IDR 9.9 trillion.
In the past year, PTBA, which is listed under the stock code PTBA, invested IDR 8.6 trillion, a significant increase from the previous year's IDR 911.58 billion. The company's cash and cash equivalents reached IDR 7 trillion, up from IDR 4.39 trillion.
PTBA has also received recognition for its significant contribution to tax revenue. The company was awarded two accolades, namely the Taxpayer with the Largest Revenue Contributor in 2022 and the Taxpayer with the Highest Payment Growth.
Furthermore, PTBA has extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) for the development of solar power plants (PLTS) along the entire Jasa Marga toll road group.
