Receh.in – PT Awal Bros Citra Batam, a hospital company, has sold 650.06 million or 4.6% of its shares in PT Famon Awal Bros Sedaya Tbk (PRAY), the owner of Primaya Hospital, according to a statement on Thursday (3/3/2023). The transaction raised Rp620.8 billion ($43.5 million) for the company as it sold the shares at a price of Rp955 per share.
Before the transaction, Awal Bros Citra Batam held 3.07
billion or 22% of PRAY's shares. Following the transaction, the company's
ownership decreased to 2.42 billion shares or 17.34%, said Director of PT Awal
Bros Citra Batam, Arfan Awaloeddin.
According to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the
transaction took place on February 27, 2023. The purpose of the divestment was
not disclosed.
This follows PT Famon Obor Maju (FOM), a machine provider
company, reducing its stake in PRAY on February 20, 2023. As a shareholder and
controller, FOM sold 658.88 million shares with the assistance of Indo Premier
Sekuritas. The divestment reduced FOM's ownership by Rp596.29 billion ($41.7
million) or 4.72%. FOM's ownership decreased from 7.14 billion or 51.19% to 6.48
billion or 46.47%.
